Drum roll, please—
Comfortably Yum is now available at an Amazon near you! I had no idea it would take me so long to finish this new cookbook, but I think it’s worth the wait.
Faithful, long-time fans need not fret; virtually all the original recipes made it to the next round, though many of them have been improved based on feedback from both readers and People Who Eat At My House.
The good news is that the second edition, in addition to having a gorgeous new hardback cover (designed by the talented Millie Parkinson) has twice as many recipes as the first! I’ve come up with so many good ones over the past 13 years. My testers had a few favorites among the new offerings, including Cinnamon Roll Scones, Finnish Salmon Soup, Devil’s Food Cake, Pavlova, and Oxtail Macaroni & Cheese. I’m so excited for you to try them!
Some of you have mentioned wanting to buy copies of Comfortably Yum as holiday gifts. I am delighted and honored, but if that’s your plan, order your copies as soon as possible. For some reason, it’s taking Amazon two to three weeks to ship them, which means I won’t get the copies I’m giving to my own kids until nearly Thanksgiving.
Once you’ve gotten your copy and tried some of the recipes, let me know what you think! And thanks to all my readers for your patience. Now that the cookbook is done, I hope to get back to publishing this newsletter more regularly. Bon appétit!
